This is the home of the Dunmow - Dourdan town twinning association. We are twinned with Dourdan, France. A town about the same size as Dunmow, situated 45 miles South West of Paris. 
Our town's links with Dourdan stretch back to 1980.
Every second year we visit Dourdan staying with a host family who provide us with a bed and meals, all we pay for is the coach and the ferry. Dourdan Twinning Association organise trips to a famous place in France, and a meal and social evening over the weekend of our stay. Dourdan then visit us on alternate years, staying with us, we entertain them by arranging a visit to London, Cambridge or somewhere of interest. Finishing the weekend off with a meal and social evening in the Day Centre.
To make this posable we raise money throughout the year, we organise Fish Suppers, Games evenings,Dances and Bar-B-Q's, lots of social events where we can enjoy ourselves and make new friends.
